Jill Glomstad and Sandy Diffendal started The Shower Shop based on a simple principle: weddings and showers should be about celebrating a joyful event with family and friends, not about money.

How did we get started?

The idea started while we were searching for favors for Jill's bridal shower. We found beautiful favors, but at $5 - $7 each, we agreed that was too much money to supply favors to 150 people. So we wound up making our own inexpensive favors for the shower and for the wedding reception. Everyone loved the favors, but it was a very time-consuming process, especially when you're also trying to plan a wedding.

If we were looking for affordable, quality handmade products for our events, we were willing to bet that other people were looking for the same things. We began making soaps, bath salts, bath fizzies and votive candles, and our products quickly became big hits with our family and friends. We decided it was time to test our theory and offer our products as an inexpensive option for shower and wedding favors.

Our products start as low as $1.00. We can do any number of favors packaged and ready to go, or just the items without packaging if you want to make your own favors. And of course we're happy to do single items if you just want to enjoy our products at home! We also do gift baskets and bridal and baby shower bingo games.
